- Place the air fryer on a flat surface with enough space around it for ventilation.
- Plug it in and, if recommended in the manual, preheat it for 3–5 minutes.
- Prepare your food.
- Lightly coat with a little oil if desired (optional for many foods).
- Season as needed.
- Put the food in the basket.
- Don't overcrowd it—leave space for hot air to circulate.
- Set the temperature and time.
- Fries: 180–200°C for 15–20 minutes
- Frozen snacks: 180–200°C for 8–15 minutes
- Chicken: 180°C for 20–30 minutes (depending on size)
- Vegetables: 180°C for 10–15 minutes
- Shake or flip the food halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
- Check if it's cooked. Add a few more minutes if needed.
- Remove the food carefully using tongs or a spatula, as the basket will be hot.
- Clean the basket and tray after they cool. Most baskets are non-stick and can be washed with warm soapy water.

- Don't use too much oil—a light spray is usually enough.
- Avoid blocking the air vents.
- Don't cook foods with very wet batter unless your recipe is designed for air frying.
