1. Measure the rice
   • Use the cup that came with the rice cooker, or any measuring cup.
2. Wash the rice
   • Rinse the rice 2–3 times with water until the water is mostly clear.
   • Drain the water.
3. Add water
   • Place the washed rice in the inner pot.
   • Add water according to the type of rice:
     • White rice: 1 cup rice : 1–1.5 cups water
     • Basmati rice: 1 cup rice : 1.25 cups water
     • Brown rice: 1 cup rice : 2 cups water
4. Place the pot in the cooker
   • Wipe the outside of the inner pot so it is dry.
   • Put it into the rice cooker and close the lid.
5. Start cooking
   • Plug in the cooker.
   • Press the Cook button (or select the Rice mode if your model has one).
6. Wait
   • The cooker will automatically switch to Keep Warm when the rice is done.
   • Let the rice rest for 10–15 minutes before opening the lid.
7. Fluff and serve
   • Use the rice paddle or a spoon to gently fluff the rice before serving.

Tips

• Don't overfill the cooker beyond the maximum line.
• Avoid opening the lid while the rice is cooking.
• Clean the inner pot, lid, and steam vent after each use.
